ABOUT ECHO PARK


Everything begins in year 2000 when the founder of Echo Park, Alex Yong traveled to Los Angeles and he was amazed by the values and esthetics of a culture known as Hip Hop, a major artistic force which had spread throughout the United States. After his return to Malaysia, he decided to spread the culture and style to our fellow Malaysians.

Echo Park is the pioneer of hip hop clothing in it's homeland of Malaysia, born in the year 2000, Echo Park has since grown immensely nationwide and has since seen the brand expanded internationally. However with its expansion blooming each year & with more people joining the family, Echo Park has never failed to return to its roots. Working with the entire local hip hop heads within the country, Echo Park supports a vast variety of events as well as promotion of up and rising talents. Artistes that have worked with Echo Park include DJ Fuzz from The Stylustiks / BumSquad DJ's, Point Blanc, Vandal, Danny One, Dareyno, Cat Farish & Joe Flizzow just to name a few, and lately international artists such as DJ Lethal Skillz and MC Jin have been associated with Echo Park.

Leading the way as the mother brand of hip hop in Malaysia, Echo Park never fails to bring the latest and trendiest in the hip hop culture to its homeland, because at the end of the day... it's not just fashion, it's a lifestyle.
